Senjumaru is a mutant species from Kotobuki which is a mutant of black pine.
Kotobuki has short and dark green thick leaves. And this, senjumaru has more, shorter, greener leaf and will have lots of new buds. And stong for hot weather.
When you keep senjumaru with good health, leaves won't grow long but buds goes long which means he grow faster.
